The Ellen DeGeneres Show Gives the 'Gift of TiVo' to Studio Audience

Studio Audience Gets TiVo(R) DVRs as Holiday Gift in On-Air Giveaway
The studio audience on today's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show will have a holiday to remember. The host of the hottest daytime talk show on television will give each member of the studio audience one of her favorite gadgets, a TiVo® Series2(TM) DVR as a holiday gift.

"When you give the gift of TiVo (Nasdaq: TIVO - News), you get a uniquely enthusiastic and excited reaction from the gift recipient, and it was great fun helping Ellen capture that moment with her studio audience," said Matt Wisk, Chief Marketing Officer at TiVo. "With a TiVo DVR, fans never have to miss an episode of Ellen because they weren't home in time. Every episode will be recorded and waiting for them."

As part of her "12 Days of Christmas," promotion, DeGeneres arranged for her entire studio audience to receive the 80-hour TiVo Series2 DVR with product lifetime service*. She unveiled the gift during a segment that will air nationally today.

The TiVo boxes include the highly acclaimed, exclusive set of TiVo service features including Season Pass(TM) and WishList(TM), as well as the home media capabilities that allow broadband subscribers to connect to all the content they love, including digital music and photos. TiVo Series2 boxes work with any TV setup including antenna, cable, digital cable and satellite, and allow subscribers to record up to 80 hours of their favorite shows without the hassles of videotape.
